Got Skills?

skills imageVolunteer Management has expanded into much more than just finding a few warm bodies to help with a mailing. We are now expected to find people who are willing to volunteer their considerable talents (anything from photography to web design to legal advice) to tackle specific projects in our organizations on one hand. On the other hand, we’re asked by stakeholders and constituents come up with meaningful ways for them donate their talents to our organizations. Welcome to the world of “skills-based volunteering.” Join Lisa Yeager as she helps us explore the topic of how to build an effect program for skills-based volunteers in a way that serves the needs of both your volunteers and your organization.
