2017 Conference!

This year VAN is partnering with Points of Light! The annual National Conference will be taking place in Seattle June 19-21, 2017!  More information HERE.

VAN will have scholarships for our members to apply for, plus volunteer opportunities at the conference, plus a reception for our members!

We also plan two half day workshops:

  • Andy Fryar on “Advancing Volunteer Management” on Friday, Nov. 18, 2016 at South Seattle Community College. Registration HERE. Only $20 (includes breakfast and lunch!)
  • Equity and Inclusion in the Volunteer Corps on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Nagomi Tea House in the International District. Registration to come…

Don’t miss the annual VAN conference where  volunteer administrators from around the region gather to explore current industry standards and exciting innovations in the world of volunteer management!  Our keynote speaker, Beth Steinhorn, is a renown author and volunteer management expert! We will also have breakout sessions tailored to you, whether you are a beginner in the field or a seasoned professional.  We also offer vendors and resources that you’ll find useful, door prizes and excellent meals!  This is the not to miss conference of the year!
