VAN Conference Scholarships still available!

This year, VAN is pleased to offer scholarships to whomever would like to attend but doesn’t have it in the budget.

Our Working Scholarship that covers a portion of the $80 conference fee. Scholarship recipients will be responsible for the remainder. You let us know what you feel you can pay. This is a working scholarship and all recipients are required to volunteer during the conference, but will still be able to attend all sessions. The deadline for application is June 12, 2015, though we may consider applications after that date.

If you have any questions or can’t access the online forms, don’t hesitate to email Allison Taylor at  . Completed applications will be reviewed on a first come – first serve basis. You will be notified around June 10 of your acceptance for either scholarship, and given details on how to complete your registration on-line or by mail. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!

Lisa Yeager has more than 15 years experience in Volunteer Management. She has lead volunteers at the Bellevue Art Museum, WACAP, Hopelink, Encompass, Autism Speaks (Walk Now for Autism), and the Sno-valley Senior Center. She has won the DuFort Award for Volunteer Management, and Program Manager of the Year in 2000. She is currently Treasurer and conference chair for VAN.
