VAN Professional Gathering THIS Thursday!

Mediation-TrainingHow do you train your staff to work with volunteers? Many new employees entering a non-profit have never worked with a volunteer in the workplace before, so how do you communicate their value as a volunteer, potential donor, and advocate for the organization to your staff? In our January Professional Gathering, Alex Ropes will talk about how the staff of the Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County receive their training on how to engage volunteers within their organization to keep them coming back!

Where: Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County, 2608 Center St, Tacoma WA 98409.

When: Thursday, January 26th, 11:30am-1:00pm.

Cost: Free! Feel free to bring your lunch!

Parking: Please park in our parking lot. If the lot is full, there is additional parking around the building, please note that some sections are marked for back-in parking only, for the safety of our dog walkers.
