Citizen Corps Leadership Summit!

  • Sharebar

I would like to tell you about a training/networking opportunity that is open to anyone who is in any kind of leadership position in an organization that works with volunteers.  Whether it’s a Citizen Corps Council, a CERT program, Volunteer in Police Service, Neighborhood Watch, Medical Reserve Corps, Firewise, American Red Cross, corporate, small business, faith-based, high school or college, here is an opportunity to come and network with other volunteer leaders and learn some tips, or share some tips that will help make the job a little easier and more enjoyable!  It will be held on Feb. 20 at Pierce College in Lakewood from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. (VAN’s own Marjorie Trachtman is one of the workshop leaders!)

I am attaching a copy of the flyer with more information and will be sending out the registration information as soon as it is available.  Please feel free to forward this to anyone you know who works in a leadership position with volunteers.  Registration will be on an approval basis so please make sure that registrants fall into one of the categories listed.
